“Frankenstein at 200” Stanford Health Humanities Conference

The call for proposals for the International Health Humanities Consortium 2018 Frankenstein@200 Stanford Conference is now open. The conference is an event in the Medicine and the Muse programme at the Stanford School of Medicine. Submissions are encouraged from disciplines including, but not limited to:

  • Arts and health
  • Ethics
  • Film and Theater Studies
  • Health Professions
  • History
  • Interpretive social sciences
  • Literature and Medicine
  • Medicine
  • Narrative medicine
  • Nursing
  • Philosophy
  • Popular culture
  • Religious/theological studies
  • Various critical studies (e.g. disability, LGBTQ, race, media, gender, age)

The deadline for submissions is 01 November 2017. You will find ideas for Frankenstein-related topics on the  conference site; note that proposals can include any topic related to the field of Health Humanities.
